Lucy Cavendish Singers: Sweet Prospect

Director: Katharina Megli

An exhilarating programme of solos, small ensembles and full choir numbers by this “magnificently entertaining” chamber choir. The Singers present a rich mix of traditional, medieval and classical music, spiced with a hint of jazz. Their title song is a shape note hymn from the Sacred Harp and the concert will build on this to develop the idea of a ‘Sweet prospect’.
“From the very first note it was obvious we were in for a treat. Energetic and beautiful singing.”

With Sarah Sharrock (double bass)
